The black edition seems more expensive because each volume has more chapters (I think each volume is like 2 volumes of the normal edition). If you prefer having less volumes with more chapters in them, go for the black edition, if you prefer thinner volumes, go for the normal edition.
The boxset ranges from 50-70 dollars (depending on if you buy it used or new), while the black book editions are 10-15 dollars per book (there's six in total.)
