my vivoactive 4S is a little over 3 years old now and started experiencing some issues. After doing a deep clean, factory reset and the newest software update, most issues disappeared. One new issue that appeared is that the green lights of the heart rate monitor stopped working.

Garmin account linked to Strava. All other activities using the vivoactive 3 (running etc.) are included on the daily summary page (both app and web connect), except zwift. Zwift activities also don't count towards intensity minutes either. Example daily summary page; You can see my zwift activity around 1pm, but no HR data.
Next, open the Garmin Connect app on your smartphone and select the “Devices” option. Once you’re in the Devices menu, select the “Add Device” option and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process. Once the monitor is paired, you’ll be able to view your heart rate data in the Garmin Connect app.
The monitor suddenly stopped working.turned the “watch off and restarted it twicestill nothing. also, the heart rate monitor is rather sporadicsometimes doing the same activity, the heart rate monitor thinks I’m sitting in the easy chair reading, while I am actually hiking a steep incline.not sure I would recommend Garmin Vito active 3 to anyone.
Specifically I am having two frustrating problems. First I have worn it to bed twice and both nights I can see heart rate data but the sleep tracker says there is no sleep data and advises me to wear the device at night. I can't imagine what I am doing wrong here. It does not seem like this should be a complicated thing to do, but it is not Health & Wellness. vivoactive 4 Series. 6883739 over 2 years ago. Today i connected Strava to my Garmin connect account. Followed the guides made sure Strava has health related data permission allowed. No heart rate. For premium paid for service Strava support seems next to zero! og0VkVF.
