Eric- I own a 2000 Jaguar xk8 showing codes PO171 and PO174 and displaying Restricted Performance. The Restricted Performance comes and goes when driven. In addition code PO455 was also in history but I could clear it while the lean trim codes stayed. I'm thinking fuel quality, vacuum issue or mass flow sensor for the Restricted Performance and
You can try removing the battery negative cable for a few minutes which may reset the computer. If it doesnt, you will need a scan tool to plug into the data caonnector to clear the codes. It is possible that there were more than one code so even if u think u fixed everything, check the codes that are stored.

Dave Quincey. The fuel reset button is on the front left hand side foot well by the door. It is behind a flap on the side carpet. To reset just push it in. This only activates as a rule when the car has been in some sort of a bump. It should also tell you in the owners manual.

Disconnect wiper and washer switch connector. Then while pressing tabs, pull wiper and washer switch away from spiral cable to remove. Disconnect lighting and turn signal switch connector. Have you scanned the vehicle? check the inertia switch on the passeneger side kickpanel..also make sure your fuel pump is working, also check for spark by pulling the the plug and leaving it plugged into coil,have someone turn the engine over confirming the spark.Also make sure the cam sensors located to the top front of the engine
