Dark Deception is a story driven first-person horror action maze game that mixes the fast-paced style of classic arcade games with fun horror game design. Trapped in a dark world full of nightmarish mazes and ridiculous monsters, the only way out is to face the darkness and find a way to survive. This is the first chapter in the Dark Deception I recommend Mr. Hops Playhouse. Game is terrifying, and it's over in less than 2 hours. It's also got 3 different endings, all of which are very very different. Probably the best free horror game I've ever played. ANd to be clear, I mean free, period, not free with "optional" microtransactions. Frightened has some of the best jump scares of all the Phasmophobia-like games.
